Spongle Terms and Conditions

Last updated 14 August 2026Version 1.8.2

Quick Summary: Spongle is a marketplace connecting Brands and Creators for influencer-marketing campaigns. We provide the platform; we are not a party to the contract between a Brand and a Creator. Payments run through Stripe. The Brand is charged in full when it funds a contract; the Creator's fee is held and released after a chargeback-protection window (7 days for card, 12 days for bank transfer). Creators keep 100% of their agreed fee. Brands pay the creator fee plus a platform fee (10–15% depending on plan), a payment-processing fee (6% on euro card-funded campaigns; 8% for pounds sterling, US dollars, and all other currencies), and any applicable VAT (charged at the applicable rate — see Section 8.5). Only the Creator's fee can be refunded. Our platform fee, VAT, and payment-processing costs are not refundable. Once you approve the content, that decision is final. Where a campaign reimburses a creator's product cost, that money is passed to the creator in full on top of their fee, and comes back to the brand in full wherever the fee does. Products a brand sends are at the brand's own risk — we do not handle, insure, or refund them. If a Brand pulls out after signing, the Creator is paid a share of the fee for the work already done. Our fee, VAT and processing costs are never refundable. Disputes are between the Brand and the Creator. Spongle applies pre-agreed rules to the verified facts and does not judge creative quality. You must be at least 18 to use Spongle. Irish law governs these Terms, with EU and UK consumer protections preserved. A plain-language Code of Conduct -- what we expect, what is not allowed, and how reports are handled -- is set out in Appendix A.
